What is your new patient procedure?

Contact us by submitting a contact request form. Once received, someone will reach out to discuss your concerns. If it is determined that your child would benefit from a communication evaluation, you will receive portal access with necessary form. Once completed, an evaluation will be scheduled.

Do you accept Insurance?

Southern Star Pediatric Speech does accept some insurance. We also accept private pay clients. If we do not accept your current insurance, we can provide monthly superbills to submit to your insurance agency for possible reimbursement.

I am interested in Teletherapy, how does this work?

Our therapists are licensed to provide services in Tarrant and Johnson counties. It is recommended that evaluations take place in-person and then treatment can be provided through teletherapy if requested. The zoom platform is used for this method and all paperwork and forms are sent through a HIPPA compliant electronic medical record portal.

How much do speech therapy sessions cost?

We offer highly competitive rates and would love to chat with you about your needs and what to expect. Rates depend on insurance coverage and the type of evaluation/therapy.

Does my child need a referral?

Private pay and PPO insurance do not require a doctors referral, unless your plan specifically requests this.
